Part 1: Return & Refund Policy

At Chile Vista Stay, we strive to provide a seamless and transparent booking experience. While traditional "returns" do not apply to hospitality, our refund and cancellation policies are designed to be fair and accommodating while ensuring the operational excellence of our resort.

1. Processing Refunds

Eligible refunds for canceled reservations, security deposits, or overcharges will be processed strictly to the original method of payment. Once initiated by our finance department, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card issuer.

2. Deposit Returns

Upon check-in, a temporary hold (incidental deposit) is placed on your credit card to cover any unforeseen room charges, spa services, or dining expenses. If no additional charges are incurred during your stay, this hold will be released immediately at check-out. The time it takes for the hold to disappear completely depends on your financial institution.

3. Early Departures

If you choose to depart earlier than your scheduled check-out date, refunds for the unused nights will be subject to the conditions of your specific room rate. Guests booked under flexible rates must notify the front desk at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a one-night penalty. Non-refundable rates are entirely ineligible for early departure refunds.

4. Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances

In the event of extreme weather, natural disasters, or global travel restrictions (Force Majeure) that prevent you from reaching Chile or the hotel, we evaluate refunds or free date modifications on a case-by-case basis. We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance prior to your trip.

Reservations & Check-In

Q: What are the standard check-in and check-out times?
A: Standard check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is required by 11:00 AM. If you arrive early, we are happy to store your luggage securely while you enjoy our resort amenities until your room is ready.

Q: Do you offer airport transfers?
A: Yes, we provide premium private transfers to and from the nearest international airports. We recommend arranging this service with our concierge team at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.

Hotel Amenities & Services

Q: Do I need to book spa treatments or restaurant tables in advance?
A: We highly recommend booking our Fine Dining experiences and Spa & Wellness treatments prior to your arrival, as these services are very popular and subject to availability.

Q: What options are available for evening entertainment?
A: Guests can enjoy our signature Chilean-inspired restaurant, relax with a vintage wine in our ocean-view lounge, or visit our discreet casino lounge, which provides a refined and elegant atmosphere for evening entertainment.

Q: Is the hotel family-friendly?
A: Absolutely. While we offer a tranquil, luxurious environment ideal for couples, we also welcome families. We have family suites and can arrange specialized excursions suitable for all ages upon request.

Policies & Etiquette

Q: Are pets allowed at Chile Vista Stay?
A: To maintain the highest standards of hygiene and comfort for all our guests, we do not allow pets on the property. However, certified service animals are always welcome in accordance with local laws.

Q: Is there a dress code for the restaurant?
A: We observe a "Smart Casual" dress code in our fine dining restaurant during dinner service. We kindly ask guests to refrain from wearing swimwear, flip-flops, or athletic apparel in the dining room during the evening.

Q: Can the hotel accommodate special dietary requirements?
A: Yes. Our master chefs are fully equipped to cater to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other specific dietary or allergy requirements. Please inform us of your needs at the time of booking or upon check-in.
